Welcome to JCU Accommodation.
JCU accommodation has been set up to showcase rooms available
to students studying at James cook University, Townsville,
Queensland, Australia.
Our 3 JCU accommodation properties are furnished and secure,
within 30 metres of the campus grounds.
The houses are built specifically for student accommodation
with large 13 square metre rooms all of equal size. 9 rooms
with private bathrooms are available. All tenants will be
students.
We are always looking for ways to improve our services. If
you have any questions or suggestions for the site, please
don’t hesitate to contact us.
How to apply
Please make contact through email or by phone. 2 weeks rent
advance and bond equivalent to 4 weeks rent is required to
secure a room.
Forms R18 (rooming accommodation agreement) and R2 (Bond lodgement)need
to be filled out. House rules form needs to be signed and
upon arrival a condition report of the room needs to be done.
the condition report notes any damages of the room preventing
the new occupier receiving responsibility for the damages
previously occured.
All room must be leased from the beginning of a semester to
the beginning of another semester, e.g. 21st January 2012
to 20th July 2012. Leases that end on the 20th January are
preferred.
